Can’t get better that this in this price range
I have two of these interfaces linked with ADAT and they work flawlessly, also the Focusrite customer support is maybe the best i’ve ever seen

This is your Interface
It is very solid, very easy to use (on Mac OS) and to configure device. All you need is to go through the settings and adjust it to your preferences. If you are in favour of analog sound and consoles then you will love the free plugins that come with your purchase.
I have tested for more than 5 months now and I couldn't be more happy.
the preamps are extremely clean. I have used with sm7b, tlm103 and other mic. the clarity and warm sound it is remarkable (at least for this price range).
also tested with other preamps of the similar range and all I can tell is that you want regret it.
small cons. is that "Focusrite control" is not the best software to setup a device like this, its not very stable and has limited control over monitoring.

Great mid range interface for home producers
This baby really stepped things up a notch for me. The features that were a big step up from the cheap tascam I was using is the monitor section (lovely), the preamps, and the adat possibilities. Besides that it's just a lovely piece of kit, well made, sounds great, reliable. I love it.

Wonderfull sound but I had a few issues in Windows. Solved but I expected a true Plug´n´play

Constantly crackling sound
I should have stayed with Apollo. I can barely use this. Whatever is wrong with the drivers makes this device useless. The audio just starts crackling and glitches all the time. Waste of money. And the pre aren't that hot either when they do work. There's a forum about this issue and it's never been fixed. My PC is top of the line too

Excelent ADAT preamps
Got it to record the full band. We use it as 8 pre soundcard or as an expansion of 8 pres for another clarett. Great sound

It could easily be compared with double the price interfaces
It just sounds right. I had and Antelope Orion studio SC BUT this one has better conversion than the other one. Just incredibile
