What a surprise!
I have purchased many synthesizers similar to this. Even it’s brother of the TD3.
The build quality of the TD3-MO, It’s very solid I give it an 8 out of 10. The sound is surprisingly both accurate and its own unique sound at the same time.
And as far as the original instrument which inspired TD3-MO, None of them ever really sounded exactly the same. The ones you hear now which are vintage, sounded totally different 40 years ago. I was so grateful to receive one of these at a great price. I feel very fortunate as they have been back ordered for sometime.
This is a very capable Synthesizer, it can make more than squelching squeaking sounds. However if that’s what you are looking for, this does it to perfection. Personally I do not give out praise unless the product is justified and have earned my kind words.
This product is justified.
*congratulations on your purchase, enjoy make & some good music.

Sounds amazing but...
I've had the TD-3 for a long time and used it for the typical 303 sounds; aggressive accents sequences and for beautiful melodies leads and arps.
But I wanted to get more control and for that "Devil Fish" flexibility. So when I got the TD-3-MO the first day I was bit confused as some of the controls were not acting as they should, for example:
Overdrive: if I have it all the way down, no sound comes through (even having the Volume all the way up) so it always has some overdrive to it.
Decay (filter): if I have a short decay it sounds like it shortens the actual decay of the synth. Not like the TD-3 or original 303.
Then there is stuff like the Accent Sweep that I have to keep always at 2, if not it just sounds too resonant. The SUB OSC is okay, never really use though. And have tried to make some melodies like I do with the TD-3 it just didn't sound that good.
But the thing I use it for, and why I won't sell it (for now), it's for those aggressive Accents sequences, anything that needs a more aggressive 303 I will use the TD-3-MO and being able to control the decay independently of both Accent notes and Normal notes adds lots to the groove
So in conclusion, if you're looking for an overall good sounding 303 go for the normal TD-3. But if you want that more aggressive sounding 303 the TD-3-MO is the way to go.

Beast of a synth
Despite sharing part of its name with the TD-3, this thing is its own animal. Way more control over the tone, made me laugh when I tried it out because I'm used to a standard 303.
Excellent service from Thomann as well.

Great sound, layout takes getting used to
Full disclosure, I have several 303-type instruments...an Aira TB-03, a homemade X0XB0X, a darkstar rackmount, and a eurorack X0XHeart.
The TD-3 MO is lots of fun, but I'm still getting used to the Behringer style sequencer. It's not quite as hands on as my X0XB0X (which has some heavy mods) but it is far more predictable when tweaking. I like how light the TD is, and I find a bit of velcro is all I need to stick it in a weird place, so it makes it into more of my "away" jams. For the price, it's a solid piece of kit, as long as you aren't a purist about the 303 sound (and why would you be?) I'm still learning how to get it to play nice with some of my gear (sometimes fiddling with the PPQ helps) but mostly I use it as a triggerable secondary bassline...almost a bit of lead sound, as it's very playable. Fun times.

How much???
One of the better sounding Behringer Clones.
It is not 100% Devilfish more like 95% Devilfish. I can live with that. If you need 99.9% to fool everyone in your YouTube comparison shootout, then head on down to Google and look for 303 mods.
The only thing I wish they improved was the sequencer. It would have been possible without sacrificing the form and button locations. This has been achieved on the MKI Bassbot and a few other 303 clones.
WHY Behringer WHY???
Yes, it can make you creative using the cumbersome OG sequencer, however in 2022 it would have been so refreshing to add a more modern easy to use sequencer instead of blinking LEDs.

Amazing sound
The best clone. The MO version of the TD3 gives more option especially if you have multiple synthesizers to sync it with. The construction is plastic which makes it easy to move around. The sound is as the original one. If you are looking for that acid sound, that's your synth.

I love this piece!
The modified version gives a lot of possibilites, not only to be in the 303 field, but connecting it as midi slave to PC or other equipment gives it way broader possibilities.

Great synth , versatile
Really enjoy this synth. The only issue i have is with the overdrive. Its more of a design issue . When you turn the overdrive completely off it kills the sound aswell. Would be great if this wasnt the case. Has a sub oscillator which i like and lots of patching capabilities
