Great improvement over Gibson's ABR bridges / stop tails.
I went for a ABM stop tail combined with this bridge, both in bell brass. I wanted better string separation and more sustain. And boy do they deliver. If you are unsure what combination of Bell Brass and Alu is right for you/your guitar, you can give ABM a call, they will give you great advise too.
I installed them on my ES 335 Fat neck (everything fitted perfectly, not drilling required)
The only thing to consider is that the saddles are NOT notched, so you will have to do that yourself or have your luthier do it for you.

sustain in the brain
massive amount of sustain after installation on a 61 SG... really worth getting... I have the equivalent for my LP, and stop tails for both

great choice on an ES175
My ES175 is from the run Gibson did in 2015 - the Memphis Historic ‘59. It was supplied with an all rosewood bridge, which was fine with wound G string flatwound 11s, but wouldn’t intone when A swapped to a set with a plain G string.
I preferred the plain G for blues, so I bought this bridge to get the intonation right. It did the job… but more than that, the guitar simply sounded better. On the old bridge, the low E string could inexplicably set up a weird resonance against some chords. The ABM has no such problems, and the guitar has retained all it’s tonal quality and gained a bit more “attack”. So it’s more versatile - and sounds even better now I’ve switched back to flatwounds.
I think the price is fair for the quality, tone and functionality.

A
Awesome
As usual, awesome product from ABM. Stiff, holds firmly in place. No bending under string tension, crisp sound.
