The BLEND pot you're looking for
I purchased this pot because I wanted to change my Jazz bass from V/V/T to V/B/T.
This is the pot you're looking for if you want to do the same thing. There's a detent in the middle so that you can feel when it's halfway and when it is you get BOTH pickups full on. There's also a decent margin either way so that you can mix and match both tones.
Overall a very solid blend pot and if you're looking to replace yours or purchase a new one for a different control setup on your bass this is the one you want.

Good blender pot, but a bit tricky to solder.
I bought this pot for a 2 pickup (P/J) bass project, after first trying a 1960 concentric/stacked knob setup and being disappointed by the drops in volume and tone and troubles when the pickups weren’t fully open (common loading issues on 2 pickup passive basses). I decided to try a blend pot instead and I must admit it’s a fantastic option if one wants to be able to blend between the pickups. The resulting control layout is quite easy to use and musically inspiring with a full spectrum of tones available. This specific blend pot feels great, and has a nice center detent where both pickups are on. Only issue I had was when soldering the electronics - since the tiny PCB has inputs very close to one another and it was actually way more of a pain to get things in place without solder shorting - compared to more traditional potentiometers. There was a bit of plastic melting and just in general needs more care and control. Not a deal breaker, as it all worked perfectly once installed, but it took a bit more effort than I would have liked.

Balance pot with a bump in the middle
This is the pot for people who want a blend pot that doesn't have volume loss when using both pickups at max volume and a bump in the middle to know your in the middle. Classic blend pots have a volume loss in the middle position so that's not going to work for me.
How I used it:
I have a PJ bass so 1 prec pickup and 1 jazz pickup. Classic wiring would be to have 2 volume pots ( 1 for each pickup) and a master tone pot.
I wired mine to have a master volume, master tone and used this pot as a blend.
If you ask me this is perfect for blend, in the middle you get both pickups at max and then when you go left or right you get more of the pickup you want.
I only gave it 4 stars for quality because I don't know how will it last, time will tell.

Excellent
I use this for my guitar, replacing one of the volume pots. Then the signal goes to the remaining volume pot, which now serves the mix from both pickups, and then on to the tone pot. Much more convenient for adjusting while playing.
Soldering was a challenge, as the space inside my guitar is very small, and so is this pot.
Excellent pot with a good feeling for the travel between end points and the dent for middle position, and with clear instructons for wiring.
I would have preferred this pot with a shorter and knurled shaft, though.

happy customer
This is the best aftermarket balance pot, no volume drop in the middle, goes easy front and back, but stays in place where you left it, a very good upgrade for your instrument if you want to blend two pickups, and not have switches or V/V/T setups.

It does what it was designed to do
For my Sandberg bass, that's just what I was looking for.
