Birthday present for 3 y old
My kid likes to play with my roland xp10 so i thougjt of finding her a smaller compact synth toy and this fits just right. And papa can also play with it! It has enough knobs and sounds for her to explore and the pen is fun and easy to grab for a little child. Unfortunately i felt this finger slide thing doesnt work as i thought. If you slide your finger sometimes the signal breaks so you dont always get a linear nice slide... and this part feels a bit rubbery/bouncy so maybe thats why i dont get so easily a smooth wave going from top to bottom etc. Maybe i just need to get used to it and as i am not using it for professional reasons, i guess it works super fine.
Its also wonderful that it has its own mini speaker so i dont always need to connect it to an amp and speaker. I would wish for an upgrade allowing it to be used with a power supply, im not into batteries.
Lots of fun and inspiring for kids and grown ups

Awesome noise maker
This thing is great. My kid loves to play with it. I love to play with it. I really like the droning synth sounds from old films and this will do it well. I am also pretty new to synthesizers so it's great that the control panel doesn't look like a 747 cockpit. The control layout is simple and easy to memorise. The delay is very good. This in a guitar pedal on it's own would be worth the price. All the features in this thing makes it really amazing for this price. I would not have been surprised if the price were 150 euros.
The only cons I can think of (which honestly do not even count at this price point) are:
Batteries only. I'd love a plug for a power supply.
Plastic case. They had to make sacrifices somewhere to keep the price low. I have an idea to rehouse mine in a metal lunchbox with a small amplifier and larger speaker in the other half of the box when you open it.
Tuning is a nightmare. There is the knob on the back for tuning pitch but you can breathe on it and and send it out of tune.
I would really love a CV input to control it with a keyboard.
Overall, it's really good for the money and lots of fun to play. I love the drone sounds I get from it.

Very good toy. And i say toy because of the tuning. It is difficult to play music due to the unstable tuning. But it is very nice to make space sounds and effect noises. The tuning is not a so big problem if you use it for recordings.

Use it or it will use you
Ok this thing is controversial, underrated, whatever. I can't figure out how one can't be satisfied. Definitely the ribbon controller strip is not large to fit the average adult finger, but this way, the user is deeply triggered to insist and push through the frustration. So funny! And the playability with the pen, it does wonders as well. Really crazy features and sound capabilities packed into this "toy". With the possibility for AUX IN signal to be processed by the internal filter + LFO, and the delay module on top of it, well, you are ready to go where you can't even imagine. All comes with a pure analog-style. The sub-oscillators and PWM buttons bring it to another level of a scary fat synth which has nothing to envy to most known trademarks, seriously. Forget about it if you are looking for nice Moog sound of course, you just don't get that. The envelope is what it is (don't expect total control on VCA either). Only thing you need is to balance the main volume with the AUX IN volume, if any. As my unit came, it was immediately modded so to run on power supply and not just batteries. But, honestly, I'm so happy that it came as it was! I can't complain anything at this price. Marvelous.

cheap cable
i am very pleased with the features and the sounds. but the stylus cable broke very quickly. now i've put some duc tape on it and it doesn't fit into it holder anymore. just be careful, it's a great toy, but not as sturdy, so treat it with care.

Great and fun tool but feels like a toy
It is a great and fun product to get into synthesizers. Nice to use on the go thanks to the headphonesport. But the buildquality feels rather toy-ish, definitly the cord attachted to the pencil feels rather fragile.

Small and effective, but few delays in sound output..
The sounds that comes out of it is crazy and futuristic, when you play with it, the back delay goes for eternity and those things are pretty nice! There is a bit of a problem with small knobs, but that's what you get with pocket size things.. There are also some delays when you turn effect knobs, but not too often. All in all 4/5 in everything, for this amount of money they nailed it.
