Der Doepfer-Basic VCO war mein erster VCO in meinem Modularsystem. Er erfüllt seinen Zweck sehr gut, es werden drei Wellenformen (Saw, Square, Triangle) geboten, dazu PWM. Es fehlt die Sinus-Welle, aber das ist zu verkraften. Ich würde ihn als Zweit-Oszillator empfehlen, als ersten Oszillator würde ich dann doch eher den A-110-1 vorziehen, da dieser eben noch den Sinus bietet.

In der Vintage-Edition gefallen mir die Doepfer-Module besser, was auch bei diesem der Fall ist. Die schwarze Front wirkt edel, ebenso die verwendeten Knöpfe. Auch wenn sie etwas rutschiger sind als die Standard-Doepfer-Knöpfe, so liegen diese gut in der Hand und lassen sich gut bedienen. Für mich ist die Vintage-Edition den Aufpreis wert, aber wer nur an der Funktion interessiert ist, sollte zu den Standard-Modulen greifen. Gleiche Funktion, geringerer Preis, besser zu bedienen.
