The cable works fine. It's no better or worse than other similar cables out there. A bit fragile but if handled with care I'm sure it will last a reasonably long time.
Cioks use non-standard plugs so it can't be used with other products. This also means that if it breaks you can't use standard daisy chain cables to replace it. You are forced to use only original Cioks cables, which is a bit of a shame.
I'm also not a big fan of the Cioks business model where they don't include something as basic as a daisy chain cable with their power supplies, forcing the customers to buy their own brand accessories from day1.
Apart from that I have no complaints. It works fine and isn't overpriced compared to standard daisy chain cables from other brands. I just wish they had used standard cables instead of that sneaky business model to sell more accessories. They do make some really nice power supplies though so I guess it's worth it.
This flex cable is a fantastic addition to any cioks power supply. It's particularly useful when used with a power supply with a smaller number of outputs like the cioks Adam or dc5. As long as the total current draw of the 3 pedals you wish to connect don't exceed the maximum milliamp output from an output of the power supply, this cable will allow you to use them with no issues.
I have not had a single issue with power or noise when using this flex cable.
Since I purchased my 5-output Cioks DC10 back when I had far less pedals, I now have to power a dozen of pedal off the DC10 ... So I really couldn't have built my current pedalboard without these 3-way daisy chain cables.
This is a piece of gear, that was in the first demand for my small pedalboard. I believed it would work with Cioks power supply and I wasn't disappointed. Hardly any signs of usage after hundreds of gigs!
These cables help me get the most out of my CIOKS DC7. They are of great quality, and daisy-chaining low mA analog pedals works great. No noise, no issues whatsoever.
This is a medium quality variant of this particular daisy chain cable, but the price is very premium. They probably want to make some good profit on the small peripheral stuff, but that won't get them a good rating from me.
Due to the fact that my CIOKS DC-10 power supply has 10outlets but only 8 outs are isolated I had to consider very well which pedal should connect which output. As I have more pedals (13) then the number of outlets (10) it's not easy to come up with the right solution.
I decided that those pedals which do not necessary require isolalated output should be connected onto one outlet. Therefore I had to have this daisy chain cable. I ended up putting my Ibanez TS-9, DOD 250 overdrive and MXR EVH Phase 90 on this daisy chain. So far so good. There is no hiss or any noise. The cable is sturdy but also flexible enough. The length is divided to 50+30+30cm parts.
Does the job, reliable, rca connector is much harder to disconnect so I prefer it and agree with Cioks to use it. Maybe a little steep for one cable, but you won't be sorry after a few years since it is quality.
