A lovely string synth

I have used this synth now in a couple of productions and makes them instantly more lush thanks to this synth produces.

Yes, it's digital and perhaps that would leave you to leave it but the sounds and features in this little machine are unparalleled with any soft synth string lib. The classic Waldorff sounds for example aren't to be heard anywhere besides this little black box.

The sounds you can choose from in terms of strings/brass/organ/choir are lush while the other side gives you nice punchy sounds. Combining them is like putting strawberry jam on a croissant...it just fits.

The presets are nicely done but with no way of reading which values they use it's more a nice quick solution with a variety of styles. I how ever have overwritten them with my own presets after tinkering with the knobs and switches for hours.

Lovely synth which I recommend to everyone getting in to classic synth music. A must have!

I'm spoiled, I have a Moog Voyager, Moog Sub Phatty, Dave smith prophet 08, and a Waldorf Rocket :P Thing is, everywhere the big game doesn't workor doesn't feel right, the Waldorf seems to do :-) For some reason this synth just worksand it has helped me out of a lot of "problems". It had good controls to make lots of different sounds, it's very intuitive and some interesting combining can be done. Only thing is that when editting midi in Cubase, sending midi to the Rocket while doing so, somethimes the thing can hang up or do other crazy stuff. No problems when recording or live though, so it's not a big deal (I read somewhere that most Waldorf stuff does this, they should work on that). All in all a good buy for a very nice price. I've sold my first one, regretted it even though I also have those big guns in the studio. So got this one and I'm quite happy with it.

Ik heb hem gekocht als vervanger voor de Solina String Ensemble MK3.
Het geluid ben ik erg over te spreken alhoewel de SSE beter klonk.
Wat ik erg fijn vind is dat je er veel meer uit kunt halen dan de standaard string geluidjes.
Voor mijn gevoel mag het het geluid meer "stereo-er" / wijder.
Omdat ik toch vergelijk met de SSE, deze klonk veel "breder"
Is waarschijnlijk wel te verkrijgen met wat fx maar dat heb ik nog niet geprobeerd.
