Stairville Diffusion Filter for LED PAR

This diffusion filter does what it says, I used it for our lights to make it soft and a little bit more fine and focus. When without this filter, our par led/lights have a bit of a hard edge or hard ambience into it, when we have use this our lights became more brighter and the spread was better and fine. Overall this filter is highly recommended for any lights that needs diffusion, works well in Par Cans and regular house lights too.

With any filter, it will slightly reduce the stop of light, this filter worked well with my stairville octagon light. turned a spotlight to almost a floodlight and reduced the glare you get from led bulbs. Win win

I got these for my led pars with single leds to reduce the amount of RGB shadowing and it's exactly what it says on the tin ; it's a pre-cut diffusion filter for led pars. It did exactly what I wanted and hoped it would and that's it !
If you need filters, or don't, get some of these

You could say it's just a piece of light weight paper but really it does two important functions for me,

1. Can explain it but it give a better blend to the color
2. it removes a lot of the glare (I use them on a pair of ultra hexs that colour wash dance floors no complaints about the lights being blinding from the crowd unlike my mega tripars )

Awhile back i purchased the stairville led diffusion filters.
I have been using them ever since and i recommend them to everyone.
the led light usually gives out a harsh light when you look towards it, but with the filter is blends it all nicely together and doesnt hurt your eyes when looking towards them.

What can one say about a translucent sheet of greaseproof paper (not actually greaseproof, I tried it in the oven and it didn't make my cakes taste that nice)

Jokes aside, this isn't that effective at diffusing the light. It makes things slightly dimmer, and blurs the focus of the LEDs, but that's it.

The PAR can I bought didn't have mounts, so it sucked sellotaping it to the side.

Pros - Someone might find it useful
Cons - didn't work that well, poor mounting system, bit of a waste of money for me.

Whats to comment on, it diffuses the light perfectly, My LED's are very focused when I added this diffusion filters on the top they spread the light very well and made the LED's much more flexible as to where I can use them. If you want to expand the areas and functionality of your LED's then these diffusion filters are the perfect solution.

These are great to diffuse and smooth out the light from my lights. Highly recommended and very happy with them. Would happily buy more.
