Just not good enough
I bought these Shure SE215 as my first in-ear headphones. They are quite affordable and have many great reviews. I also wanted to use them for listening to Spotify so I bought the Aonic G2 set with the bluetooth receivers.
I have used the ear-buds for a while and thought they were fine. They fit very well and are comfortable. However, recently I also tried out a pair of relatively cheap XVive in-ear ear-buds and my opinion changed immediately. The XVive are SO MUCH more clear. It was like the sound opened up a whole lot. In comparison, the SE215's sound dull and muffled. The XVives are only marginally more expensive but so much better and also louder with much better bass, mid range and top end clarity.
I also have hardly used the bluetooth receivers since it is a bit of a hassle to put them on in comparison to for example Samsnung or Sony ear-buds.
I hence do not recommend the SE215s nor the bluetooth freceivers that come with it. Spend a little more money on better ear-buds and a seperate pair of buds for casual listening. You will be happier.
