For this price range this is a fantastic guitar with it's own character, a great balanced tone, resonance and volume! And you get a pickup for the price! I have only used it for a few weeks so I think I didn't get to hear quite it's full played-in potential. So with mahogany back and sides sound is a bit more dry/articulate and punchy with excellent projection and good fullness. Good for fingerstyle. The style is very nice vintage, finish is very good but not perfect. The "Ultra Thin Zero-VOC Satin Finish" seems to let the guitar resonate more freely. But seems also like it can get a bit more easily marked/dirty. Because of this minor issue and more importantly the fact that it's neck profile is also vintage-like that grows wider near the body which make it less playable for me and my smaller hands, I had to return it. The slightly wider string spacing near the bridge makes finger picking actually easier. So I imagine people that have more "normal" hands than mine for fretting would really like this guitar. I don't think it can quite match the sound of some more premium guitars but then also expect to pay 2-3x times as much!
