Great value piece of gear

Using this as a practice amp and recording tool on my desk at home.
For that it meets all my requirements.

+ A very well built and aesthetically gorgeous designed amp;
+ Portable and easy to use;
+ Controls and backpanel connections look and feel very durable;
+ It has descent weight and good stability from the rubber-ish feet;
+ Good sounding and very spatial reverb projection;
+ Great sound and tight bass response, even at higher volumes;
+ Doesn't fart out or rattle as easy as other similar amps at clean lows and bass guitar;
+ App is easy to use and offers lots of tools for recording and practicing;
+ Very descent charging time and battery life;

- Tone tinkering only via the app;
- I had some issues recording using Asio4All, but it comes with a dedicated Asio driver that can be downloaded from the PG site, which worked perfect for me;

Besides the amp, the spark app delivers a lot of tools for practicing like AI generated backing music and interaction with youtube video's like suggested tones and chords. And of course the presets you can find via tonecloud.

I can also recommend the Jimi Hendrix expansion as well. Not only if you're a Hendrix fan, which i'm not specifically, but it does add a few classic sounding amps and fuzzes, as well as a wah pedal(!) that can be put to use for a great range of sounds. For the price it's a great addition.

Overall, a great value piece of gear that so far has kept me inspired to pick up my guitar on a daily basis, even for 5 minutes.

Great little practice amp

I've bought Spark Go and Spark Mini. Both of them are great amps for your desk. Really well featured with almost everything you need. Only downside I could tell is the lack of looper but there is a great smart jam option built into an app that goes with it. It's louder than you think.

I got this as a practice amp, the fact its so compact, battery powered and the app allows for a lot of different sounds and features makes it very fun to practice on.

Gutes Konzept mit Verbesserungspotential

Ich bin ein Wohnzimmer Gitarrist und habe mir den SPARK MINI wegen der „Smart Jam“ Funktion und der Möglichkeit Musikstücke als Backingtracks mit Akkorden und Taktanzeige zu nutzen bestellt.
Die Bluetooth Verbindung und das betreiben mit Akku war ebenfalls ein Kaufargument. Ein Funksystem für die Gitarre zum Verstärker nutze ich auch. Somit bin ich Kabellos unterwegs.
Ich habe viele MP3 Backingtracks ohne Gitarrenspur (aus der MOISES App) und wollte diese auch mit dem SPARK MINI nutzen. Man kann jedoch nur YouTube, Spotify und Apple Music laden. Im Grunde den Song im Original ohne reduzierte Gitarre. Die Akkorde und Takte werden hier einwandfrei angezeigt.
Die Jamtracks sind Spitze und werden auch mit Akkorden und Takten angezeigt, die Art der Anzeige von Akkorden und den Takten ist sehr übersichtlich und angenehm.
Da es sich um ein POSITIVE GRID Produkt handelt sind die Sound Möglichkeiten wie bei BIAS FX unbegrenzt, der Sound des Verstärkers ist ebenfalls sehr gut und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Man wird jedoch wie bei BIAS FX immer wieder dazu animiert, Pakete oder Erweiterungen zu kaufen.
Mein Fazit:
Für mich bringt der SPARK MINI noch nicht den Mehrwert auf diesen zu wechseln. Das Konzept hat jedoch Potenzial, vielleicht wird die Software noch erweitert, dass man eigene MP3`s direkt mit dem SPARK MINI mit allen Sounds und Funktionen aus der APP verwenden kann.
MP3`s kann man zwar über den AUX Eingang verwenden, dann aber ohne der Akkord Funktion.

Jamtracks, Bluetooth, Stimmgerät, AUX Eingang oder Steuerung über App können eben dann andere Modelling Amps auch, einzig die Akkord und Taktanzeige und vielleicht noch die KI Jamfunktion ist in einer Ampsimulation noch ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal.
