After a long time, and my former box 1960A, I'm back on Marshall. It was difficult to decide by looking at Youtube reviews and find a relevant one among them, to find the best 2x12 box for my Marshall JVM 210H. And that's it! Compact, easy to carry and with a full sound that does not lack bass and treble. Believe me, you will feel the kick of these vintage speakers. It has enough power for a big stage, I used it there and at home. What is important - although in home mode, with the master volume at barely 2 and the channel volume at the same level (on a 100w amplifier), you have as good a Marshall hard rock sound on the Humbacker's as on stage. No need for drive pedals. Great for practicing, great for the ear :) Great box.
Thomann is always a great choice, but I have a complaint, unlike the previous Fender De Ville purchase, this box came in its original Marshall cardboard box, without an outer cardboard box to protect it during transport. And so the cardboard box arrived in Croatia damaged, with a hole in the front part, on the left next to the mark 1936V and four symmetrical small holes on the back. Fortunately and by sheer chance, there was no damage to the 2x12 box itself. I don't know why Thomann changed the way of sending and protecting the shipment, and as I read in the comments- only for countries outside Germany?
Anyway, I was lucky enough not to have to return the shipment and wait for a new one. Finally, the conclusion, a very, very good 2x12 box, maybe the best if you compare the price and characteristics with similar ones on the market. 1960 is great, but there's really no need for something that big unless you're constantly playing arenas and stadiums :)
