I don't like the way this plug is designed. There is very limited space for soldering the ground connection, but the black part that goes over the connections is unnecessarily long. The strain relief is the old style where the cable needs to be clamped between two metal sides.
It does feel like a very heavy duty part though, but then again it is more expensive than all other angled mono plugs available at Thomann, including the better designed Neutrik plugs, so I think the price is too high.
I won't buy these plugs again. You can get a Neutrik plug for less and an Amphenol plug for a lot less, both of which have better designs. The Thomann angled plugs are designed similarly, but offer more room for soldering a ground connection and cost less then one euro.
