Great for home / studio use
I am a big fan of Friedman amps. I bought this pedal because I hoped to achieve the same overdriven tones through a clean combo (live / home use).
The pedal works as advertised: the BE tone is there! I have found the pedal to work very well in home / studio situations. Live, it just didn't do it for me - it did not cut through the mix. I feel that the MID frequencies are not prominent enough.
Ofcourse, you can fix this by adjusting the MID on your amp. Or maybe add an EQ pedal to your board. For me, that was not an option as I also need my clean sound to be as I like it. And adding an EQ pedal to a pedal that retails at EUR 230,-....
