EMG MMTW

I bought the MMTW for my MM SUB to get rid of the noise since I play with taperwound strings, so the groundwire of the bass that's on the bridge and connects the player to ground thereby shielding the pickup didn't work for me anymore, the nylon tape around the strings isolated me introducing hum in my sound..

With the MMTW that's a thing of the past, and Lord, the fundamental bass that comes from this pup is just what I needed.

I use mostly the single pup setting, clear highs and not too much output that can overdrive the AD of my Zoom B3.

gekocht als vervanging van mijn DMT stock pickup, dit element heeft een heel helder geluid, en dmv push/pull optie knort mijn bas nu ook lekker voor de nummers waar een Jazz Bass uitstekend tot zijn recht komt. Instructies waren zeer duidelijk, waarbij ook verschillende voorkeuren gekozen konden worden, en installatie was haast kinderlijk eenvoudig. Dit element ga ik wederom aanschaffen voor mijn andere bass met MM element.

This is the first time I went with an active system and Im very happy with it. It has a nice clean sound. The difference between the MM and Single coil isn that big with the tone rolled down, but it does add more diversity.
The solder-less system was a bit getting used to, but eventually it went well.
The screws on the other hand are a nightmare. They are not the standard pick-up size screws and they seemed to be made of butter. The heads are completely stripped after installing them.
