This cable failed me the second time I used it.
I was careful handling it because it is cheap, but not careful enough apparently.
When you buy one, open the male XLRs to check that the cables are not exposed. In mine the sleeve had slipped so Hot and Ground were shorted in at least 4 connectors!
Almost ruined a critical job and killed very expensive microphones.
Also in the stagebox, all connectors are soldered on PCBs, all grounds are common and one pf the pcbs was damaged.
Also the multicore tends to slip out of the ring that keeps it in the metal box, so be careful handling it.
It's an OK solution when you have no money, just make sure you open it and check it is actually functionnal.
