Istanbul Mehmet 16" Nostalgia Crash

Gleich vorne weg: ich war jahrelang meinl Byzancer und hatte mir eher aus Zufall mal ein Istanbul Mehmet geholt. Fand ich von Tag 1 an richtig gut! Schöner Sound! Unschlagbare Preis-Leistung!!! Dann kam die Nostalgia Serie! Jetzt war es komplett um mich geschehen! Mit dem 16er Crash, habe ich jetzt total auf Isganbul Mehmet Nostalgia umgesattelt. Was soll ich sagen: die Serie klingt einfach genial! Spritzig, aber nicht nervig. Klingen super schnell aus! Setzen sich durch ohne in den Ohren weh zu tun! Besonders das 16er fügt sich unfachmännisch in das Setup ein! ( ohne es vorher gehört zu haben - Einfach blind bestellt)
Und jetzt kommt noch das krasseste: Freitags 15:00uhr bestellt- Samstag 10:30uhr geliefert….noch nicht mal 24h - Hut ab, Thomann!!!

Honestly I only started looking at Istanbul cymbals because I have so little money. So I listened to all the sound clips I could find, careful to compare all the different series offerings across all price ranges, even across other brands.

I chose this cymbal not because of it’s price but because of it’s sound. It is truly mind blowing! This cymbal has a thresh point where it begins to open up and when it starts to wash you can’t help but smile. This is what I love most about the cymbal! The sound character is amazing truly unique! I have had the more expensive cymbals from the big brands and they absolutely do not compare to the quality of the sound alone, never mind the price.

I look forward to sitting behind the kit even more because of this cymbal. Best choice ever! All in all, I look forward to changing my entire setup to the Istanbul brand. I find the sound of these cymbals far more musically interesting than any other.
