F
perfect for dub, very creative, not the average spring reverb
It produces a wonderful mellow and dark tone which fit perfectly in dub and ambient music.
-The filter sounds great, allowing to easily adjust the color of the reverb which is good especially for mix purposes.
-With the LFO on the filter you can come up with very noisy wobbling sounds that are really unique.
-You can use the retroverb to add some analog taste to digital synths lines and samples and it really does the job.
-Last but not the least it has a spring crash button which is a must have in every respectable dub tune.
In conclusion you can get really creative with the retroverb, that offers possibilities way beyond the average spring reverb. Of course it has a very particular sound which i found not suitable for every kind of music production, but if you're looking for something to dub and experiment a lot with, that's the reverb for you.
