The quality is good, the cold white light source is very bright, the motors are fast and the product is overall quite sturdy. It is also very quiet
Everything works as it should, according to the specs.
Small things I didn't like (this is not a complaint, I'm mentioning them in case some reader cares about any of these details).
* the 2 gobo wheels don't share the same focus. If you use them both on top of each other, only one of the overlapping gobos can be focused, while the other is out of focus, or viceversa. Or of course you can have them both defocused if this is what you want, but they will never be focused at the same time. Maybe it's normal or unavoidable, I just didn't know or expect it.
* Careful that 21 degrees of maximum aperture is quite narrow. Make sure you know if this is enough for what you need.
* I find it odd (but might be normal for reasons) that in order to use this head without strobing, the strobe channel must be set at 255. If left at 0 the light won't turn on. This is not a bug, the manual confirms it. I would have found it more logical that when someone doesn't need a feature (such have strobing), the channel controlling such feature can be ignored and left inactive (which in my head means set to 0), but now instead I must always remember to set the strobe channel to 255 when I just want, you know, light to come out.
