Comprato questo piccolo strumento nel 2009 allo scopo di fare pratica in casa attaccandomi a stereo o casse, come alternativa ad un piccolo combo di bassa qualità, e deriso da tutti i miei amici "navigati".
Dopo tutti questi anni, dovessi avere un euro per ogni volta che i "navigati" me lo hanno chiesto in prestito per sostituire testata e cassa in situazioni live dagli spazi contenuti e con necessità di usare gli impianti PA, avrei ripagato tranquillamente il prezzo del Pocket POD.
Detto questo, è chiaro che oggi, nel 2017, se lo scopo è solo fare pratica in casa ci sono piccole interfacce da attaccare a smartphone o tablet che risolvono lo scopo ad una frazione del prezzo (senza contare il tab), ma secondo me rimane un piccolo strumento di grande qualità, con ampi utilizzi e dal prezzo contenuto.
8 anni di utilizzo, prestato in giro mille volte con chissà quali alimentatori, e ad oggi non ha un problema. Cosa dire di più?
Chiaro, non è lo strumento più comodo se volete passare da un suono ad un altro in fretta, durante un live: non è un pedale. Ma è davvero l'unica critica che gli si possa fare, e riguarda un utilizzo a cui secondo me non è destinato.
