Really great pad!

The construction is solid, and the weight of the pad allows it to be played on top of a snare drum without it moving. The "classic" blue surface is certainly very responsive, but nothing too special. What is surprising, however, is the black surface. It is actually quieter, PROVIDED you don't hit too hard. If hit hard, it will feel like you are hitting the wood underneath. This is a limit which, however, can be a valid ally in regulating the dynamics, given that we often tend to play with more force than necessary on the pad. The bounce doesn't really imitate a snare drum, but a 12' tom. In any case I find it much more fun to play than the blue one.
The foam in which it is made is quite dense, so it does not appear fragile and easily susceptible to breakage (I use the rohema pad sticks to avoid any damage from chopped sticks as much as possible), but in any case for transport I recommend its original packaging . Given the versatility and the price I definitely recommend it.

With this practice pad I can practise whenever I want without disturbing others, even if it's the middle of the night. The blue side feels and sounds like a normal pad, the black side is quiet and has a bit less rebound. I enjoy using this, but most of all I'm glad that I can pick it up whenever I want to without having to think about what time it is.

good for practice. I use the quiet part to practice at mid night and it does not even disturb other people. I think this is the perfect practice pad for drummers. Highly recommeded

Super Practice Pad

Ich nutze das Practice Pad seit kurzem, um zu Hause ein paar Rudiments zu üben und um die Geschmeidigkeit in Hand und Unterarm zu steigern.
Die blaue Oberfläche ist eine klassische Gummi-Pad Oberfläche, die den Stick gut bouncen lässt. Hier kann man super Doubles etc. üben.

Ich nutze gerne die andere Seite, die schwarz eingefärbt ist und eine etwas schlagabsorbierendere Oberfläche hat. Hier muss mehr Kraft aufgewendet werden, was super ist, um Kraft und Ausdauer in den Unterarmen zu trainieren. Außerdem ist das die besondere "quiet" Oberfläche, die tatsächlich deutlich leiser im Anschlag ist. So kann ich problemlos im Nebenraum meine Übungen machen, ohne andere Mitbewohner in der Wohnung zu stören.

Die Verarbeitung des Pads ist solide. Aufgrund des kurzen Einsatzzeitraums kann ich bislang keine Einschätzung zur Langlebigkeit geben.

Die einzig "unangenehme" Überraschung beim Pad war der doch recht starke China-Geruch beim Auspacken. Ich denke aber, das lässt sich v.a. bei solchen Gummi/Kunststoff Artikeln kaum vermeiden.

Fazit: Für diesen Preis stellt das Drumeo Quiet Pad mit den beiden unterschiedlichen Oberflächen eine super Alternative zu den Platzhirschen wie dem Evans Real Feel Pad dar. Das Spielgefühl ist bei beiden Oberflächen sehr angenehm. Empfehlung!
