Había probado algunas doce cuerdas (Ibanez, Guild, Eko, Takamine) antes de decidirme por esta guitarra. La verdad es que las referencias que consulté a través de internet me llamaron la atención pues eran escasas las valoraciones negativas y ya he comprobado el motivo.
Para empezar he de advertir que no soy músico profesional. Mis sensaciones con este instrumento son completamente diferentes en comparación a los que había probado. Es una guitarra bastante ligera y que resulta muy fácil de tocar puesto que el diapasón es muy cómodo y siendo una cutaway se interpretan los tonos agudos sin ningún problema. Además, las cuerdas, con afinación estandar, ofrecen un nivel de tensión que no la hace dura de tocar. En este aspecto me sorprendió bastante puesto que las que he probado me dejaban los dedos bastante tocados y tras dos o tres canciones tenía que descansar. Con esta guitarra se me pasa el tiempo volando y puedo estar fácilmente tocando durante dos horas y no se resienten mis dedos. Los materiales, en líneas generales son de gran calidad y en cuestión de estética no cabe duda de que es un hermoso instrumento, que llama la atención por sus acabados de madera envejecida y sus ornamentos en el clavijero.
El sonido que proporciona es brillante y con un sustain profundo, con buenos graves y agudos. En un sonido muy limpio y equilibrado y, como buena doce cuerdas que creo que es, los armónicos suenan de maravilla. Particularmente la uso sin enchufe pero el sonido es igualmente impresionante tanto si tocas con amplificador como si lo haces sin él.
Obviamente, habrán mejores doce cuerdas pero dudo que puedan superar este modelo en relación calidad-precio.
En resumen, un instrumento versátil, cómodo, atractivo y con un sonido limpio, equilibrado y brillante. ¡Qué más se puede pedir!
