Good quality product
I've been playing violin without shoulder rest for many years. I decided to try magic pad to have more stability and it actually works pretty good: I don't have to press too much on the chin rest to hold the violin, the pad has a good grip so the violin doesn't slide away.
One think that I don't like about this pad is the fact that you'll have to remove it from the violin every time you'll put it back to the case, otherwise it will probably won't fit in and sometimes it's not so easy to remove.
Anyway, it's a simple and good quality pad that costs way less than any shoulder rest and might be a good option if you don't have a long neck and you don't want to spend a lot of money by trying different shoulder rests.
