Great case
I use it as a roadie-case, so removed the mic-cut foam from the bottom but left the foam on top.
Luckily, the foam is glued on with quite easy-to-remove- glue, so that was nice.
Perfect size for a gig case containing all the tools that might save the day on a job.

Perfect for SM58 or similar
This case is solid and stable. The foam does its job by holding the microphones in place during transport. The "foam-bays" are optimal for Shure SM58 or similar sized microphones. I use it for Sennheiser e845 which is slightly longer than the SM58. The microphone is to long for the "foam-bay" making the microphone slide a little bit back and forth during transport. No big deal, but a bit irritating.

Thon Microphone Flightcase 7
Absolutely brilliant. So well made - the inside is sculpted for the mikes and an extra space for clips and cables.
Looks and feels well put together and for the price I couldn't make one!

Good case
Only one thing to complain is if you store the case do it laying position or on side ways. Storing it like a briefcase (standing on lover edge handle upside) is not good because foam inside can't hold heavy microphones so well and eventually becomes loosened and worn.
