Great Little Rack but the panel at the back seems counter intuitive...
Great litt rack, but the pannel on the back blocks access to the units so don't install that untill you know you're rack is complete, (read as throw it away ;) )
Otherwise great fits the studio like a glove, good size and weight.
Overall worth every penny!
Also functions as Lava Lamp holder - But that wasn't in the manual.

Very Handy
In terms of expansion this desk is perfect for any studio. The locks on the breaks are bit tough to get to but are great that they\re there fro flexibility in studio. I useo n of these in a live room where I wheel around headphone amps and other various bits of gear so perfect!

Studio Ready To Amaze
I've been looking for a furniture that can hold my rackable gear for a long time, but since i moved in with my girlfriend, beside value/price, design also became a factor. Most rack boxes protect your stuff, but don't look so good doing it, especially in a living room with furniture. I mean REAL furniture, nice stuff, next to which a bare metal skeleton holding a bunch of cold slabs of hardware with flickering lights and protruding knobs just looks, well, sh*t. Studio furniture that look good are usually expensive - like any other quality furniture and more. Our living room is really small, so besides looking nice, it had to be small, but roughly the same height as the IKEA table it would stand next to.
The StudioRTA Producer Cart fit the requirements the best. Assembly wasn't difficult at all, but the package is heavy, so handle it with care! One small criticism: the black panels on the side are FIXED to the columns. This should not be a problem, but occasionally you do have to reach inside to the rear of the instruments, amps etc. to pull out a cable or whatever. If it were not fixed, i wouldn't have installed it, at least not on both sides. But otherwise, i highly recommend this to anyone with the same needs as myself.

Fantastic cart at a great price
This cart has exceeded my expectations. Sturdily built, great quality wheels and quite spacious. In the thumbnail it appears to be a little more square than it actually is, which (despite measuring beforehand) still surprised me.
Very easy to assemble, components feel pretty solid and ample rack space. My only nitpick would be the metal could be a little sturdier and the grating a little thicker. Genuinely wish I'd picked this up before - will likely pick up another one in the future!

Great product!
This product is ideal if you want sturdy and usable 19" rack with desktop. It is a good size, as it is a similar height to many standard height desks. I managed to fit my amplifier (3U), some noise gates (1U each), a computer base (4U) and my rack cd player (3U) into the unit, still having some some space left over. The Studio RTA range is easy to assemble. The wheels are good quality and two of them are lockable too, so you can stop the desk from moving around too much. The plastic coating on the work surface melted on mine when I left a candle on it, so you need to be careful with heat.

Great studio rack and inexpensive too.
I bought this to house a rack computer, thon power conditioner and a host of preamps, synth modules and other processing gear. I have it placed alongside my main desk (which was adjusted to match the height of the producer cart).
Overall very happy with the purchase. The unit is extremely well built and it's extremely easy to rack items as the rail strips are threaded. The castors are equally useful whenever I need to pull the unit out and do a bit of reorganisation of cable routing. Also my 01V mixer sits nicely on top.
Highly recommended, solid unit at a great price.

Well built !
I ordered this for some of my audio gear to mount it. After a year or two of having it I found that I've only got 4 pieces of equipment in it. So I installed 19" shelves in it and they fit perfectly for some of my analogue tape audio gear.
