I really like it!
There are numerous youtube videos about the sound quality. I am no expert on the matter but in my ears it sounds great. The things I have to say are a few though.
Unfortunately even though my PC has blue USB 3.0 ports it is somehow not compatible with the nowadays superspeed 3.1 Gen 1 that this device has. I don't blame the UR though my PC is a bit old now. So the only way i could make it work (after a lot of frustrating) was through a USB 2 port. This means that I can not use this devices full potential. Do I have a lag in recording instruments? No none. Do I have Latency problems from my MIDI keyboard? No none. I could not believe that there is no latency anymore...None! And all this through a USB 2.0. If your PC has modern 3.1 superspeed Gen 1 compatibility, you will probably be faster than me and use the UR to it's fullest. Although this was a serious issue because my PC has blue 3.0 ports and it didn't work.
The DJ - DAW switch has a lot of potential in terms of connectivity. You will enjoy it and I am glad I purchased this over the 22 just for this switch. You can blend inputs going through your monitors and many more fun stuff that you will have to experiment with. All an all this switch can provide tailored sound solutions for you if you tweak it and play with it.
There is a ring of light around the master output knob. If it is in DAW its white and if it is in Dj its red. The device has the ability to receive an outside power connection, witch i have done because i don't want to strain the PCs power unit if I can avoid it. So whether it has a power source from your PC or from an outside connection, the light stays on. Even when you switch off the PC. It lights the room all night. In order to fix this issue I close my UPS entirely at night. Not a major problem but I know some people would mind.
The Hi-Z feature on input 1 just boosts the sound of my guitar and probably invites a bit of hum noise. I don't use it this much but the device is relatively new and probably i am not familiar with it so soon.
I am impressed with it's connections and the way you can make it your own. I even found a way to hear my guitar through Cubase and BIAS FX from my amp! The device is metallic, heavy and all knobs, jacks and switches ooze of quality. We likee!

Really good and quality built interface. Really good choice to start using one because price to quality/functionality is exceptionally good.

32 Bit at this price!
This is the one to add to your setup. It's 32 Bit, take anywhere USB 3.0. If your current audio processing is 24 Bit and you need additional headroom without the huge costs. You can't go wrong.
I've had this a while now. I record directly to Logic Pro, and send the line out to my old mixer which has been unsupported for a while now. I wanted a cheap and easy way of continuing with my workflow, without the UAD, RME Expense right now. Robust and it's 32 Bit. What more do you need and still way under budget.

German engendering at its finest! 🔥
Cannot go wrong with this interface for The price! Thunderbolt connection is flawlessly good and your not seeking out 700+ for an apollo!
The interface is solid and well built and sounds cystral clear. I love the phantom power on the back to stop accidentally pressing it on by accident.
5 stars ✨
