Powercon are a welcome improvement over the previous IEC
I already own the previous HL-x18 RGB WW floods.
I have added some of these HL-x180 floods which are an updated version.
The change from IEC in/out for power to PowerCon in/out is a good improvement.
These new x180 are otherwise identical to the previous x18 product. The light output and colour rendering are the same. I had an 8 metre wide cyc wash using a mixture of two of the previous x18 and two of these x180 and there was no discernible difference in the brightness or colour - and I used a range of red, blues, yellows, pinks and greens.
A good "budget" product that performs well and has decent construction. They are good value for money.
It is a shame you have to buy the hanging yoke separately and that is quite costly. The included floor stands work well.
Recommended.
