I have a Shrue Beta 87C and I felt I should buy one of these to cut down the popping when my mic was turned up fully at bigger gigs, and this has solved the problem and looks cool on the mic to, at least I think it does. Well worth the money.

Passt gut auf das Sony C-80

Ich verwende es als Schutz gegen Speichel auf dem Sony C-80 wozu es meines Wissens leider keines von Sony selbst im Angebot gibt. Es ist auf dem Mikro eng anliegend. Es ist sogar möglich die Schalter am Sony C-80 weiter zu bedienen - der Schaumstuff reicht bis genau dort. Der Schaumstoff selbst ist relativ dünn, sieht aber aus wie akustisch neutraler Schaumstoff.

Passt auch auf andere Mics

Ich verwende diesen Wundschutz für ein Rode M2. Sitzt nicht ganz passgenau, aber es funktioniert alles und nichts verrutscht. Gesangsmics sehen damit auf einmal eher wie Reporter-Mics aus, man wird auf einmal eher ernst genommen, wenn man das Leuten unter die Nase hält.

Für Gesang würde ich generell nicht noch mehr Schaumstoff-Poppkiller auftragen, denn der Sound geht damit weiter kaputt. Wer da Probleme mit seiner plosiven Aussprache hat, sollte lieber ein kompatibleres Mikrofon wählen und/oder an seiner Technik arbeiten.
