A must have, but poorly designed
I use the deck for transporting my large bass cab on my RockNRoller cart. Without the deck, the cab would fall off. So it is a must-have.
The deck in two parts is annoying to transport in a car: two loose parts of considerable dimensions.
The four wooden blocks underneath each part, for locking to the cart, are poorly designed. It takes minutes to try, retry, replace and turn around to find the right way to click on the bottom of the cart. I had to adjust them by scraping off some wood. Now they fit in seconds.
The metal "locks" on these wooden blocks are useless to me (I never use them). The firm should design some kind of click-on system.
Nevertheless, I'm happy to have the deck because the RockNRoller cart would be of no use to me without the deck. That's why I think this deck should be sold together with the cart, not as an accessoire for an extra charge. I cannot imagine using the cart without the deck.
The build quality is okay: strong enough to carry heavy weights.
Once you have done some work on it, this deck does what it is supposed to do.

Fairly essential really
Unless you are carting around very large amplifiers/speakers etc and only then width ways, you will probably need the Solid Deck to keep everything on. These are actually fairly decent quality - though be aware they are not what is pictured above as they are now single deck carpeted pieces with little plastic hooks that you need to tighten everytime you use them. Also you can't fold the RockNRoller without removing these in a particular order, so it does make everything slower. Sadly the RockNRollers themselves are very poor QC now and so I wouldn't recommend them overall.

Good accessory
Works very well with the Rock 'n' Roller cart. Although deemed an accessory, unless you're using the cart for reasonably thomann sized boxes, it is a neccessity or you will have things falling through the base of the cart.

RockNRoller Deck
A very useful deck to move sound equipment securely.
