Classic rock sound
Inspired by Deep Purple's perfect cymbal's sound I bought this one and was incredibly wondered to find out, that this beauty sounds exactly like on Paice's recordings!
This cymbal has fast attack, clear bright sound, and medium (as for me) sustain.
I play rock and metal music, and this Paiste's masterpiece fits me perfectly. But if you work in other genre and need some explosive crash sound - 2002 Classic 16'' crash is definitely your choice!
Haven't found any disadvantages of it for year of use, except one - I can't stop crashing it!

One of the most versatile cymbal ever!
Its 2002, you dont have to say anything more, but i will. Sound is bright, crispy and powerful but still mellow. It depends on your hit how you want to cymbal sound, you can play from jazz up to hard rock with one of these. Its cymbal standard for a long time so you dont have to think twice about buying this one. Build quality is amazing. Wont regret buying this one.

Great crash.
2002`s are the most versatile cymbals out of the all Paiste`s lines. They have enough of the finesse for jazz and enough of venom and hissss to play rock and metal.

Superb
Since I started beating drums in 1989, it's part of my set ... I can change anything in my set, but this cymbal doesn't ... Ideal for any genre of music
