Ich habe einen Ersatz gesucht für meine geliebten Pickboy-Rosewood-Picks, die es leider in genau dieser Form nicht mehr gibt, sondern nur in einer runderen Variante. Die Ortega Wood Picks sind ein guter Ersatz. Ich gebe 5 Sterne für Langlebigkeit, obwohl ich dazu jetzt noch nichts sagen kann, bei Bedarf ändere ich die Bewertung. Diese harten Hölzer halten aber eigentlich schon ziemlich lange. Der Klang ist im Gegensatz zu den von mir auch gerne gespielten Dunlop-Jazz-Picks eher perkussiv, daher sind die Holzpicks bei mir nicht im Dauereinsatz.
Fazit: Wer auf Holzpicks steht, oder sie mal ausprobieren möchte, ist mit diesen gut bedient.
