Pros: Foldable, fits easily into a backpack any sort of bag if you need to carry it around;
Cons: It's a bit flimsy and can easily fall over so you should be extra careful when resting your guitar on it.
I've had a pair of these for a long time now, and they're usually carried around to practice spaces instead of the more bulkier ' standard ' stands, for space and weight saving reasons.

Have used better ones

Easy to set up and cheap, but not the best stability. I need to place the stand with the guitar against the wall to make sure the guitar doesn't slide out (which happened several times).

I would expect a bit more

Bought it as back up stand for my gigs. It's not the most stable stand you can buy, but the built quality is standard. My only issue with this is that the guitar does not sit straight and there is a danger to fell from the stand as there is no securing device for the neck.

Good, but...
GermanG 09.01.2015
It is a good stand, in the sense that it does the work, plus it is pretty compact and reasonably priced.
The only faults a find is that it doesn't have the best finish and it feels a bit flimsy. I'd like it to be a bit taller too.
But, again, those are minor things and the truth is that it is a very practical and portable stand for any kind of guitar.
Say goodbye to the big bulkier stands when you are touring. This thing is your best friend to keep your guitar on stage (provided you find a safe and stable spot on it, away from kickers and too-curious people).

Good guitar stand

Guitar stand is nice build quality for the price, the guitar rests low, so it takes a bit more space 'behind the stand', if you use it along the wall i would recommend to look somewhere else.

Good Stand
Dev W. 25.12.2013
Bought this stand for my heavy mahogany 7 string guitar. Out of the box my first impression was that it looks fragile, the joints look flimsy. In reality is it very stable for lightweight and heavyweight guitars. None of my guitars have fallen off this stand so far and I even used it a gigs. It can be easily packed in gig bags when you go for band practice and gigging.
However, one of the downside is that I noticed the rubber pad that supports the back of the guitar can damage your guitar finish. So I had to stick a cardboard on the rubber back to ensure that my guitar finish is not damage.
Other than that I am quite satisfied with this stand.
