Honestly I know nothing about mallets, but I got these to use with my toy glockenspiel and it works just fine. Makes a nice sound in my humble opinion!

Preiswerter Schlägel vor allem für leiseres Spiel

Ich benutze die Mike Baler Basics Mallets in einem synfonischen Blasorchester. Die Schlägel liegen gut in der Hand uns sind vor allem übrzeugend und ergeben einen schönen Klang auf dem Glockenspiel und/oder Xylophon.
Für die verschiedenen Spielweisen habe ich mir für einen reinen metalischen Klang am Glockenspiel den BB12 mit Messing-, für den Allroundeinsatz am Glockenspiel & Xylophon den BB10 mit hartem PVC- und für leiseres Spiel den BB11 mit weichem PVC-Kopf zugelegt.
Ich kann diese Mallets nur empfehlen, wenn man preiswerte gute Schlägel, welche trotzdem ein großes Spektrum abdecken, sucht.

Solide Mallets

Vor allem zum Üben und für Ensemble-Proben als Ersatz für Holz-Xylo-Mallets habe ich die mit den Schülern verwendet. Die Holz-Xylo-Mallets sind nun mal wesentlich teurer und für Proben sind diese Mallets auf dem Xylo optimal.
