It says its a Gretsch product on Thomann but there is no evidence on the packaging coming in a plain bag. However as lots of Gretsch guitars come from China its probably from the same place. Id read an earlier review saying it was scratched on arrival, mine looked this way as well until I realised there is a hard to peel film on top of it. Once removed it is perfect under that. I bought it for a Peavey Rockingham that I had installed TV Jones onto it fits them. It will probably fit other pick ups as well as there is enough wiggle room in the cut outs but depending what distance your pick ups are apart as this can vary between brands and type. You may have to file a bit off the cut outs to make it work for you. If you want a different colour you can spray paint the back like Gretsch do if you want. I am happy with this pickguard its good enough for the price.
