Graph Tech PG-8000-OC Stringsaver?
I bought the original, all black, graphtec saddles some years ago and didn't get on with them at all. To me, they sapped a lot of tone and although they didn't break strings the detriment in sound was enough for me to never use them again. However, despite this I thought I'd give the classic metal ones a go and put them on a Blade Super Vee. What an improvement! Somehow even though they still have the strings resting on teflon ?/? they actually sound even better than pure steel saddles. Loads of bite depth and harmonics. Thank you Graphtec. A great product. Oh yes and the strings don't break either even with dive bombs and pull backs :-)

Astronomically better than the stock saddles.
Those horrible stock strat vintage saddles the strings eat into and they can't keep the intonation or action stable. Occasionally you scratch yourself on the screwheads etc etc.....
These look and feel better. Super easy to install, just takes a bit of time to setup your guitar afterwards.

BETTER IF NOT GREAT
First time I mounted these saddles on my strat and my conclusion is - besides saving strings - the acoustic zingg improved substantially, and in consequence the overall amplified sound too. I recommend to put also the Tusq nut since the two together make a complete tandem. What you also experience is a major improve on bending your strings since both saddles and nut are lubricated for life. Smooth bending with less effort. I will change all my guitars (Teles, Les Pauls) to this system little by little. Really a no brainer!
My next wish are the Ratio tuners from these guys; a major improve too!! These canadians deliver good stuff.

GraphTech bridge saddles for Fender Strat
I found number of negative reviews / articles about the GraphTech bridge saddles and its negative influence on original sound of Fender Strat. I did not have a chance to touch it on a real guitar. So I was not sure until the latest, until I switched the guitar on to an amplifier. The result is amazing! Tone / sound is perfect, it gives classic Strat's sound.
GraphTech PG-8000-OC installed on Fender Strat with Vintage tremolo bridge (year 2005/2006).
Pros: quality of product, quality of sound, better tuning, nice sustain.
Cons: Description of product is lacking information, price.

Never breaks strings again!
Though not cheap, all my guitar have these and I have used them for many years. I never break strings and never have the fear of breaking strings live -which makes them worth every penny.

worth every penny
bought this bcos it looks cool at first, and after I playing it, it actually saved my string, I play guitar for more than 3h everyday, and the string that I have still sounds good after using it brutally.
pros: really saves your string's lifetime.
cons: a bit too expensive, but hey, try it out!

A superior upgrade at a superior price.
These feel much nicer under the palm than the stock vintage Fender saddles. Palm muting sounds better too. As for overall tone I have not noticed any change. I never had a problem with excessive string breakage, I'm pretty sure I've never broken a string on this strat, but I do change string regularly.
I bought these saddles mainly for palm muting as switching back and forth from the strat to an SG. Palm muting on the strat just didn't feel or sound as good. These were an expensive upgrade but I love what they have done to the guitar so 100% worth it. They also look 100 times better that the stock saddles.

Excellent upgrade!
I was breaking strings on my no1 guitar constantly.
I did some research and found these saddles.
I haven't broke a string in almost 2 years :)
