I used this component and others, mostly from Dixon and Gibraltar, I ordered aluminium custom cut pipes (lighter than stainless steel and cheaper) and built my custom rack, which is superlative. I recommend this component, very reliable. I am sure it will last for many years.

As long as you use them for lighter stuff, they do the job. For heavier things they just don't have enough grip. Also the spring gets worn after very little use. I think that's what you get for this price. If you're looking for something durable go for the TAMA clamps.

I bought this along with the millennium drum rack it is really strong and don't need a memory lock. It holds up all my toms and cymbal arms with NOTHING slipping
