Like and Angel crying on your Fingertips
GHS boomers, what can I say . I've tried them all , you name it , every big name brand, and almost all the boutique brands, and time after time I return to GHS. Simply put their resonance is second to none as well as lasting longer on every guitar I have despite the savage amount of abuse doled out on the Floyd. Remaining clean, clear and sparkly new even when strung for a long period of time, yes ladies and gents, it is indeed like an angel crying on your fingertips as you soar effortlessly into the stratosphere. Are the other bands bad? no of course not , it's just that GHS are in my honest opinion, are far better value for money in the long run. Amazing how many people stick to the same brand without ever changing- like listening to nothing but synth pop without ever hearing Andy Timmons - how will you ever find out unless you buy and try - and when you do and they are everything you ever wanted I'll happily send you my address so you can send me an endless supply of tequila for being so good to you - go on, you deserve it - treat yourself - you won't regret it

Some things change, some stay the same
It's been years since I tried GHS boomers, and from the very first time I gave up on Elixir, D'Addario and Ernie Ball. Nothing against other brands, but these are much more reliable, great sound, long lasting, and they break rarely. I change them when I notice the sound changes, not because all of the sudden they break after a week of heavy duty. Highly recommend them on Strat, or check the GHS Gilmour signature for shorter scale guitars.

Value for money string sets
I have been using these strings on my electric guitars as I change them quite often, so it helps that their price is quite low.
Totally satisfied with tone and durability for their cost

My favorite strings
Relatively cheap compared to other brands, and can't fault the quality one bit.
They have a slightly more "vintage"/warm sound compared to Ernie because they use are round core vs Ernie's hexagonal, but I personally find that a plus. I also find GHS strings easier to bend.

Pretty good strings for the money
I think there could more clarity and bite to them but for the money I am not complaining.

GHS Boomers
Not my preferred strings, which are D' Addario. Read somewhere that these are better for Floyd Rose bridges so thought I'd buy some to try out, (not tried them yet though).
I have used Boomers before on a Gibson Les Paul years ago and they were very good, but I preferred Ernie Ball strings then.
