Bit of a let down after seeing the reviews.
After getting this rack out of the box the first thing I noticed was that the groundsurface of the rack was uneven, thus making it rock lightly.
The material they use for their cases seems to be quite solid so I'll take their word for it.
One other strange thing is that it seemed they glued the rails on without making sure the holes were kept untouched. I had to manually puncture a hole through a layer of glue with every single one of them. At the same time it made out that the glue wasn't adhesive anymore and that 2 screws had to be in place at all time in order to be able to safely secure a unit.
I expected a bit more from Gator, though hopefully it'll still serve me well.

Meh
I got this for live gigging. It's fairly solid but the rack screw fittings aren't perfectly aligned and seem flimsy compared to my Thon racks. It didn't come with enough screws, and they're smaller than the rack screws used for any other rack I've ever encountered. I replaced it, so now it lives in my stack of things to sell off whenever I get the time.

Good case, but...
This is a solid, sturdy case which, like my other Gator case, is let down by a very poorly designed rail system that falls apart when you try to place the screws. Also, it would be helpful if you labelled this as ?shallow? on your site as I ended up having to return it since it was too small!

Wouldn't buy for holding something expensive again
I used this product to house an Axe FX Ultra, a Power conditioner and an ART SLA1 power amp.
Good points:
- Compact
- Light
- Cheap
Bad Points:
- Not very sturdy, the top and bottom are quite thin
- No padding, or shock absorbtion - i don't think it would protect against a fall very well
- Cheap latches, too small and flimsy, ok for home use but no good for semi-pro or touring
