I bought this to combine with a derby for a compact set-up for smaller venues when the full lighting rig is too big/overkill, and overall I'm satisfied, though it does have a few minor issues.
Firstly, the light doesn't auto-calibrate on power on, so if you don't manually position the light bars first your sequences won't quite run as planned.
Secondly, the DMX channels/commands as per the instruction book seem to have no correlation to the actual commands, so there's a lot of trial-and-error and guesswork in setting this up on DMX. I don't know if this has had some kind of firmware update since the manual was printed, but you've got functions on different channels to those specified, then when you do find the right channel the numbers still don't correlate to the functions listed.
Thirdly, the auto functions are somewhat basic given the light's potential. And as is often the case, if you stick it in sound-activated mode there's no secondary option to bypass the strobe function (you only need to see someone have a fit from a strobe once to know to avoid it).
On the plus side it offers a lot of value for money, and if you take the time to properly set up some DMX chases for it it offers fantastic versatility and can be a real centrepiece light for little money.
