Long-lasting, gives you the bright tone you're looking for
Diatonico 07.02.2021
What else is there to say? These are great strings — they last long and give you a crisp tone with enough bottom end to balance it out (assuming you have a decent intstrument, of course). Totally worth the extra money.

Probably the best strings in the world, but some guitars does not like this strings. Fits best for premium guitars. Playability is outstanding 'cos of the flexibility of these strings, but it does not impact well to intonation. The harder strings gave a little bit better intonation, esp. for dreadnought size guitars.

OK but nothing special
Anthony8207 08.08.2015
I have a Yamaha CPX900 which has quite a full sound with a strong bass response. I have tried Martin SP, which did not suit the guitar at all - too rich a sound, and Yamaha's AEP12, which worked very well - bright, crisp and clear, but allowing the full sound of the guitar to be heard. The Elixirs are somewhere between the two. They are a better match than the Martins and they are a little fuller sounding than the Yamahas, but not so crisp and clear. The Elixirs have a nice slick feel with reduced string noise and they should last much longer (but they are much more expensive).

Not the best sounding strings but last a VERY long time
TrEr 07.06.2021
I've tried lots of different coated strings and the Elixir Nanowebs are in a league of their own when it comes to durability. These strings last an impressively long time! I have them permanently mounted on guitars I use regularly (practise, rehearsals, even gigs).

I do not use these strings for recording if I can avoid it though. The sound isn't quite as good (for MY taste) as many other strings out there. Still, they're not poor sounding, just not quite up there with my favorites.

Great strings for rehearsals/practise/touring. Not my first choice for recording.

Not for me
Marcus6718 03.02.2014
I know a lot of people find these to be good strings and if you like coated strings you'll probably like these. Personally I find coated strings to be a bit dead, these are however the best coated strings I've tried.
