Quick release but strings off to get it on, but no, it isn't. What sorcery is this!
It looks strong and sturdy enough, certainly for home and occasional use. I've only just got it and I'm sure it will be fine in use, but, my immediate gripe with it (unless I'm missing something, perhaps there's some magicians trick to it) is that in order to get the "string" or it actually is a braided cord end over the nut and underneath the strings you have to take the strings off. There is no "break" in the strings. I thought maybe you could push the cord into the plastic clamp thing it would come out and you could unknot it to then thread the cord under the strings, but, no, at least not so far as I can tell. So, it's strings off to get it on then. Ahh, dummy, you just loop it through itself don't you ...... Don't be caught out like me folks, I nearly cut the cord....

Very easy to use
great solution and great strap.
The easy Quick Release is really good and built in the top quality like the rest of Planet Waves products!
The strap it self is very simple and feels a bit cheap but still it is ok and doing the job right.
It does exactly what it says and can be removed very easy and quick.
If you are looking for a better strap, so I suggest that you will but it separately and just add the Planet Waves DGS15 Acoustic Guitar Quick Release Strap System. Work the same but with a batter strap.
Both are highly recommended!
