Requires a lot of practice.
I bought this pick to try out how a bone/wooden pick makes a difference. Obviously, each material has its own characteristic, though one may argue how dramatically that characteristic makes a difference regarding tone or playing style/comfort.
I can say it's pretty different than a generic plastic pick. Due to its thickness and stiffness, in my opinion, it gives a brighter tone which comes with more picking noise. It might be useful while playing power cords or some heavy rhythms. However, I don't find this or any similar pick useful without many hours of practice.
Overall, I think my main problem with this pick is its thickness which is 3mm I believe. If it would be thinner with the same aspects it could be an amazing pick.

Nice thick/hard plec
I bought this plectrum for my collection but also play it on my mountain dulcimer. i dont like it for my acoustic Guitar. But thats just me, my Son like it for his acoustics and e guitars. It is (of course) hard (as bone) even if the tiip is quite thin. the top is thick but very slippy. the durability is hopefully long, ( i just have it for some days now, so i cant give 5 stars for that yet) the tone is mellow and sweet, not as hard/brilliant as i thought it would be. GreaT for Mountain dulcimer ;-)

Cool idea, but not usable
Nice shape and looks cool. Although it's polished, the bone structure comes through and the little imperfections and sharp ridges grip the string, making the feel and sound unpleasant.

I just love this
The best pick I ever tried. Excellent quality, Eco friendly and good feel while playing guitar. I really like the thick pick. The form and size is a perfect match. Good grip and also a unique sound.

What a pick...!
What I use it for: guitar soloing, because it has an amazing full tone, not making harsh, treble-y sounds and rock bass guitar, because it goes fast AND it has a very full tone, giving me the fundamenals of the bass sound.
What I don't use it for: greek folk guitar, because it hits upon the wood and makes a big, ugly noise, and chord strumming because it sticks a little bit along the way.
All in all a very good tone, very good durability. The only thing that I don't like very much is that it sometimes slips through my hand, as, since it is a fat pick, I can't have a very good grip on it. But that's just me, because I've difficulties with pick holding all of my life.
