No Carpet Crawler
Perennial problem...every venue has a wooden floor, so hit kit, kit slides. I have used mats, beer crates, gaf tape, you name it and still i find the kits slowly moves away from me while playing. So when I bought a new shell I thought I would buy a Drum Rug too. What a revelation. I put the rack on rug, the drums on rack, hit the drums and there was no movement. Played a few gigs and always ended up where I started from. The rug covered holes, bumps, rusty nails, you know the stuff you find in a venue. It even keeps my feet warm! I used a little tape to remind me where the rack goes and all i do when setting up is to roll out the Drum rug and place the rack. An added bonus is that the Rug denotes my drumming space and once its on the floor, neither guitarist or bass player go near!

Great quality rug
This is a great quality rug. The drums sit on it pretty steady and it does absorb quite a bit of the vibrations and sound.
In all this is a very good quality rug. I find it maybe a bit large for gigs in smaller venues where there isn't much room, so I wish they'd make a similar rug with slightly smaller dimensions.

Good for this price.
Size is perfect for classical amount of drums in one set. Quality of the rug maybe not the best (in some places like under hihat or bass drum pedal you could see some marks after two weeks of using). But it's stable, looks nice, price is very affordable. Also maybe black carpet is not the best choice because you will see all dust and small peaces of woods from your sticks on it. Anyway it's much better than regular carpet.

Not that great...
They look good (even though there is Thomann logo in the corner) and have robber surface on the bottom side.
Be aware, it's VERY VERY difficult to vacuum clean them! You need to sit on your knees and sometime take the dirt with your finger and push it in vacuum cleaner cause it just cannot suck it out on its own! My cleaner is Miele and a good one so believe me, it's not the cleaner!
Then after less than a year, I notice the robber surface is punctured because of the foot machine nails.
I would not recommend it.

Great rug, durable
Great rug, stays on the floor, doesn't tear into pieces with the drums on top of it. Good size for an average to large sized drumkit. Feels good barefoot as well, if you play with no shoes!

Just lovely!
It is a very stable and great quality drum rug.... I simply love it! Once you put it in your studio, you'll have your personal space where you can place even a large drum kit and feel very comfortable (I have a 7 piece drum kit). If you don't move your kit for some time, the drum kit will leave some marks on the rug but this is normal. Last but not least, it is very easy to hoover it and it is a great advantage for me as I don't like too much drumstick splinters around...

Very cool addition to my accessories for live performances!
It keeps the shape perfectly after it has been rolled up. It is a light carpet but very solid, with a cool design. It is perfect and it gives me confidence on the stability of setup.

Nice and easy to clean
Looks very nice and with vacuum cleaner is very easy to clean. Great for holding drum pedals in place.

Perfect for my new kit!
Great new rug for new kit, stable, rugged with a good gripping rubber back, kit spikes no problem. Useful sound absorbtion in small room too...thanks Thomann
