Fun! (but don't expect the quality of a 1000€ instrument)
Just arrived, I've played it about an hour, so these are first impressions. Sounds surprisingly good. Fun&easy to play, maybe the higher notes need a little breaking-in time. Tested with a tuner, all notes within 0-3% range, that's great, and that makes the difference between an instrument and a toy. Love the black&red. Awesome carrying case.
Not sure about the placement of the drain hole, time will tell if it's okay.
Note: there's a volume difference between high and low notes, but this is a general issue with melodicas I've tried. (For the same reason, this is not an instrument for playing overly complicated chords. It's just physics.)
Great price/quality ratio overall, I mean come on, <30€ for something that'll actually be useful in my music? Give it to me.

Amazed for the price!
I was looking to pick up a cheap, easy to play wind instrument. I decided to go with a melodica as I know my way around a keyboard. First day I had it I could actually play it, it was so easy to play and nice sounding for very little money, it was an amazing experience. I was somewhat torn between buying this and the other Thomann brand standard melodica, but I think it was worth the slight amount of extra money to get the stylistically cooler looking red and black one. I can't say if the Pro model sounds better than the standard one as I haven't tried it but this one was perfect for my use case as a casual musician.
Pros: Awesome sound, cheap, and looks cool!
Maybe cons: Not sure how different it sounds from the standard as I haven't tried that, so maybe not a con at all!

came with a defect key
I received this melodica around Christmas time to gift it to a friend. However, it came with the highest key stuck to the side as always pressed position.
Thomann gives always excellent customer service, I am sure they could take care of it if I send it back but I didn't have time for that so I opened up myself and sanded off the excess molded plastic on the edge which was sticking the key. After that, it worked as expected. The plastic mold has so much excess in inside.
It is not the best quality but still O.K. for the price. Just a little bit more attention would make it really good for the money. Such a missed chance.

Nice student instrument
Bought for my son to be used at school.
Well tuned, nice built (it's plastic but no defect at all). Very nice bag included.
