Poor man's 4099
This was the second Ovid I bought, and I love the improvements over the first generation.
My first was the original version with thin, fixed cable, and at the time an AKG plug. Had to cut the cable to install the screw on jack for the Sennheiser port, but still works today.
This version is much more to my liking: you can replace the cable if broken, the end of the cable fits the Sennheiser I have, cable is more robust.
Tonewise I think it's a steal! I used it for double bass without an issue, guitar, mandolin, banjo was also great, and you have so many options for the holders.
Feedback rejection is great due to the small capsule diameter, much more usable than the similarly priced small diaphragm mics.
Is the DPA 4099 better? Of course it is, but it's not worlds apart. If you want a solid performer for decades, and you can afford it, take care for it, go with the DPA 4099 D-Vote Core! It's not an industry standard for nothing. But if you want a solid, great performance cheaper option for second or third projects, you do sound and have the Sennheiser ports already, the Ovid is a great option, and it will not fail you in situations where the DPA would be a no brainer choice.

Sennheiser kompatibilis
Ez a verzió használható a Sennheiser mikroportokkal (G3, G5, EW-D, EW-DX). A kábel cserélhető, ha sérülne. Ár/érték arányban verhetetlen továbbra is. Jó ha van nálad +1 cseredarab. Ennyiért megér 2-t is.
