Good replacement
I bought this one as a replacement for my active Warwick bass. Although it is probably the best tubular type jack out there, it still has some drawbacks of the design.
Pros:
- available in stereo (for active guitars/basses) and mono
- good price
- high quality
Cons
- after some time the contacts became loose, and since it is a tubular (closed) design, it is impossible to access the contacts when they become loose, and make them hold the jack tighter again, which results in cracking noise and a need for replacement. This is why the open ended jack design is better, but if you don't want to drill you are faced with a need to replace the jack when the problems with contact arise.
- the colored ones (black, gold) can chip inside after some time resulting in problems with contact

Works well
I Installed this piece into my Ibanez for use with active pickups and it's working perfectly. Snug fit in the guitar and for the cable plugging into it.

Does the job.
Right.
I swapped out the jack i had on a bass for 25 years when it was cutting out and it does the job really well. Nothing else, just does a job well. recommended.

Solid Stereo Jack
I bought this jack as replacement for my Warwick Streamer´s jack. It works flawlessly and seems to be a solid build and realiable. All my instrument cables have a very good connection and fit perfectly.
Maybe a small printed manual, which shows the pins of the jack would be a good idea.

Nice snug fit
Bought to replace an old jack unit that came off an Ibanez RG series with active pups for a changeover to passive. Easy to fit, cable sits snug and secure and the all black helps the guitar look nice and sleek. Just be careful as it's a bit harder to see where to put the cable in a live sitation. Otherwise no issues, thanks!

Words as intended
Great quality, doesn't cut out when jiggling the guitar cable, which is a common annoyance with Ibanez standard jacks (even on j.custom!)

Good Jack
This jack is quite good. It looks beautiful from outside. But it has many problems:
- when it is unscrewing, it's not comfortable to screw it back because of design;
- if you will have problems with contacts you won't be able to do any thing but to change connector, because of its closed design;
- it occupies more spece inside then open design connectors.
But all in all it is a good Jack connector. Good locking outside and with some problems inside :)

great, but not really
great quality, jack fits tight, no scratches in the sound, no noise
Update from 1,5 years of use - broke (was "dead" spot while inserting jack all the way in), had to replace it once again
