Reka Cleaning Kit
This cleaning kit offers a much improved way of cleaning the inside of your trumpet compared to the traditional nylon brushes which are not so accurate.
The cleaning kit consists of 4 brushes, a traditional mouthpiece brush and 3 different sized soft cylindrical spheres which tightly and completely fill the tube you are cleaning in order to remove all the dirt and grime left in the tube from blowing and playing your trumpet.
There is a sphere on a plastic stick which is for cleaning your valve block. There is a second smaller sphere on a plastic stick which is for cleaning pipes and slides. The third sphere is on a plastic coated pull through flex which is long enough to clean all the way from the third valve slide through your valve block and bell so that you can get at and clean every tube on your trumpet.
You can use this kit in the confidence that it will not scratch or damage your trumpet as the spheres are soft and the plastic coated pull through flex is safe to use.
The only partial downside to this kit is that it is not as durable as a traditional brush set due to its design but I gladly accept that for its superior cleaning and protective qualities. Also, if you are like me and clean your instruments on a regular basis you will end up with a whole load of unused extra
mouthpiece brushes as they are much more durable that the rest of the kit. Maybe Reka might consider selling this kit in separate parts in the future?
My conclusion is that this kit is a must for every trumpet player who cares for their valuable instrument.

Not good quality materials/finishing
The orange foam balls are held on my too much stiff glue which made it impossible to use a couple of the brushes until I cut the glue away with a knife. Then after only a few times usage, bits of the orange foam come off too easily when cleaning the valves and pipes. The mouthpiece brush is fine. Will try something else next time.

Have ordered this again
It’s durable even with frequent use as I wash my trumpet after funerals.

Essential tools for a clean trumpet
Great product with thin strong wires that follow the curves of my trumpets and robust ball cleaners. Part of my routine made that little bit easier with these well constructed Cleaning tools.

Not very happy with it! The 'rubber' endings on the sticks will not clean easily after the first time of use! The flex and the valves/mouthpiece brushes are fine.

Great tool
That's a great tool for cleaning your trumpet and flugelhorn.
I tried all kinds of brushes etc. but the Reka system is the most flexibel solution.
Cleaning the leadpipe and the tuning slide can be down with the traditional brushes. But this tool allows you also to clean the small pipes that connect the valves of your horn, or the small slides.
If you own a flugelhorn with vertical tuning slides for first and third valve than is probably also the only tool how you can clean all pipes by yourself.
Just make sure to clean the balls with soap or something different after usage. Otherwhise the organic rubber will get destroyed by the stuff they move out of your horn!

good, but, could not have the valve brush
As the pipe cleaners are soft and the can wear out fast, you end up with multiple repetitions beyond what you need. Not needed.
Other than that, I only use Reka sponges to clean my trumpets.

Well engineered trumpet cleaning kit
The four units clean the mouthpiece, lead pipe, slides and the valve block. Apart from the bristle mouthpiece brush, the others are rubberised and compress lightly into the parts of the trumpet. This allows a seal, without scratching, to efficiently remove any particles of dirt. The rubberised balls discolour immediately but I don't think this has any adverse effect on their efficiency.

Efficient solution
The brushes have sponges on their tip. So it's a good cleaner for trumpet. If it came with a cloth it would be better. But still ok.

Works Well.
Does exactly what its says. Easy to use and quite robust. I've been using mine weekly on several instruments and its still in good condtion. Slightly on the big side for certain instruments tubes but thats no big deal. It's all you need!
