Extremely Durable
These sticks have been my choice of stick for a little over a year now, and I can see why. They are quite heavy when compared to the hickory model and can also withstand extremely heavy playing. In fact, from my experience, they're the most durable (and heavy) drumsticks that I have ever used. The weight of them is very well balanced (although it does vary a little from model to model) and allows me to get the deepest sound out of my snare and toms. The finish on these sticks is perfect for me because I get really sweaty hands when I play and these sticks feel sturdy with no desire to slip, while at the same time rarely giving me any blisters.

Quality control has really failed me.
These sticks are indeed strong... until you break six of them off at the tip, in the exact same place, over and over again, whether the tips are nylon or not. Promark used to be such a respectable company before D'Addario. I used to hit the bell incorrectly in my newer days of playing, and even then, the tips would never break. See, that was BEFORE D'Addario. Now, they've really gone downhill, and I won't be buying their sticks anymore.
