Extremely dated looking software, but it does the job...
Why does all mastering software look like it's from 2003? I really don't understand. I do most of the 'heavy lifting' mastering in my DAW, export the 24-bit WAVs, then use this software to create the fades/track lists and create the various versions. It does the job, but it's not fun to use - it's a very ugly bit of software with strange, unintuitive ways of doing things, but it's paid for itself many times over and hasn't crashed on me (as far as I can remember). It's pretty good for creating vinyl versions, DDP, and exporting regular WAVs.
I wish there was a way to batch export e.g. a 24-bit WAV master 16-bit, and MP3.
I haven't tried actually using many plugins inside of the app and actually mastering EPs/albums in one place, but the software is so ugly, I'd rather not!

HOFA does it again.
Hofa's CD Burn and DDP software is the easiest authoring programme out there to use with capability to make vinyl DDP's too. I had an older version for years but when I upgraded my studio computer I bought everything new to go with it and what a transformation this is. So many niggles have been fixed and the workflow is simpler and more intuitive but the definite crowning glory is it's solidity in running large batches of CD's. Their are more slots to fill out giving vast amounts of information encrypted into the discs if so desired and now when saved with the original audio files, it opens everything back up in an instant without having to show the path to the audio. All in all a fantastic piece of kit and highly recommended !
